34th AGM of AAUPCC held on Sunday March 30, 2025

Srilanka, May 1 — The 34th Annual General Meeting of the Alumni Association of the University of Peradeniya-Colombo Chapter (AAUPCC) was held on Sunday March 30, 2025 at the Main Auditorium (Sanhinda), Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA), Colombo 07.

D.P. Mendis PC, a past President of AAUP Colombo Chapter was the Chief Guest and Dhammika Wijayasinghe, Chief Secretary of Western Province joined in the occasion as the Guest of Honour.

The following office-bearers were elected for the term 2025/2026.

AAUPCC – Office-Bearers 2025/2026 are as follows:

President: Palitha Siyambalapitiya

General Secretary: Chandika Indikadahena Treasurer: S.M. Gnanarathna

Vice Presidents: Jagath Dahanayake, Ranjith De Alwis, Kumudini Kulatunga, Ereasha Nanayakkara and Hasantha Palihakkara

Assistant Secretaries: Shyamalie Perera and Yamuna Abhayawardhane

Assistant Treasurer: Ranjith Karunaratne

Co-Editors: P Balasingham, Neliya Fernando and Fareeza Ghazzali

Coordinator: Chathuranga Weerasinghe

Auditor: S.C. Mayadunne

A further 21 Members were also elected as members of the Council of Management.
